ShareX setup
Save your preferred upload settings in a ShareX profile, then import them with a single-use configuration URL.
1. Create a profile
In your account dashboard, choose default visibility, album, NSFW label, and expiry. The profile stores preferences, never the raw upload token.
2. Import once
Generate the installation URL and use ShareX's Import from URL option. The ticket expires quickly and can be redeemed only once.
3. Manage safely
Uploads return a deletion URL for ShareX, and rotating or revoking a profile token immediately blocks the old configuration.
The imported profile uses the direct image as ShareX's main URL. From an image's right-click menu, open Thumbnail URL to reach the WiresBB viewer and its full set of link options, or open Deletion URL to remove the upload. ShareX only provides these three URL slots for custom uploaders, so the viewer occupies its otherwise unused thumbnail slot. The API also returns WiresBB forum BBCode, Markdown, upload state, and an account support reference for custom tools. ShareX's built-in BBCode formats are generated by ShareX itself and do not use WiresBB's custom forum syntax.
