More room to grow

WiresBB storage expanded as uploads grow

WiresBB has been receiving more uploads, and that growth recently exposed a limit in our storage capacity. Some new uploads were temporarily unable to complete while the storage server was full.

The issue has now been resolved. Storage capacity has been significantly expanded, the image server is healthy, and uploads are processing normally again.

What changed

• Storage capacity has been substantially expanded.

• Additional room is now available to support continued growth.

• Existing stored images remained intact.

• Automated monitoring is being introduced to warn us well before capacity becomes a problem again.

Do I need to do anything?

If an upload remained stuck or failed during the disruption, please upload the file again. Successfully completed uploads and existing images are unaffected.

This was an avoidable interruption, but it also reflects something positive: WiresBB is being actively used and its storage needs are growing. WiresBB is now better equipped to support continued growth, with improved monitoring in place to help prevent the same issue from recurring.
